We offer Nitrous Oxide, or laughing gas, for all of our procedures. That will help you to relax and help take away the gag reflex. We also offer conscious sedation for your dental treatment. Both Dr. Martinson and Dr. Greene have undergone special training and maintain a special license to provide sedation dentistry to our patients.
We are very aware that most people do NOT like going to the dentist and put off dental treatment for way too long. Our goal is to help you save your teeth. If you are concerned or afraid about having treatment done, please let us know. Oral Sedation is very simple. We give you a pill to swallow and you will sleep through the whole procedure and probably not even remember what was done.
Concierge Treatment
Rather than being left waiting in a clinical waiting area, upon walking into our doors, you will enter a relaxing atmosphere that is fresh, and welcoming. We know you will find out office very different than an ordinary dental office. While you wait, you can enjoy a hot or cold beverage and a healthy snack. You won’t be greeted by a dental technician or nurse in scrubs or lab coat – our cheerful reception team will greet you by name and guide you on your journey to a more beautiful smile.
Comfort Amenities
We provide various comfort amenities to help you feel more relaxed while you are here. We have cozy blankets and leg and neck pillows for you to use.
Headphones
We recognize that it is unpleasant to hear the whine of a dental drill, and don’t believe our patients should have to experience it. Every patient is provided with noise-cancelling headphones for a more relaxing, stress-free experience.
Dental Zen Chairs
Our dental chairs are simply, extraordinary. These chairs incorporate a gentle massage to relax the body and to aid in a more comfortable experience.
3D Imaging
Our 3D CT scanner provide our doctors with 360 ° images for use in implant treatment planning or diagnosing complex issues. The images can be magnified and viewed from any angle. For implant treatment, Dr. Greene uses special 3D software that allows her to pre-plan the exact angle and position of your implants with great accuracy.
Nitrous Oxide
We offer nitrous oxide, also known as laughing gas, as one of our sedation options. Nitrous oxide takes effect quickly—from a few seconds to a few minutes after inhaling. It obscures pain as well as giving patients a feeling of well-being.
Oral Sedation
We provide oral sedation as a method for achieving minimal to moderate sedation. This requires you to show up about an hour prior to your dental appointment and take a small dosage of a sedative medication. Most patients become so relaxed that they may actually fall asleep. The medication usually takes several hours to wear off fully, so you will need someone to drive you home after your treatment. Oral sedation is not a “knock-out drug”, but is a very effective sedative.
Gentle Injections
Our doctors take particular care so that your injections are as gentle as possible. We will use a topical anesthetic to numb the gum beforehand, and some patients say they feel nothing at all.
